Discoveries of Differences between Japan and Korea

In this year, I entered university and I made foreigner friends and get some information from them. Especially, now I get along with korean friends, and I learned a lot of thing from her. I’m Japanese and living in Japan of the Asian country, who knew there are a lot of differences between Japan and Korea through about cultural things. It was quite different from what I expected that Japanese culture and Korean culture have not only a lot of differences but also similarities. For example, Japanese mainly use chopsticks when they eat food. Besides Korean use both chopsticks and spoon. There are quite a lot of differences between two of them. Secondly, Korean girl like light make up, therefore korean idle is light makeup.On the other hand, Japanese girl like heavy makeup!! their around eyes is deep black! they take them a long time!!
However, I and she always learn a lot of thing each other.

Tastes and Preferences

Do you know Avril Lavigne? She is my favorite singer. When I was 12, I know her in the fashon magazine, and at the time she was 17! Now she has 3 album, 'Let go" "Under My Skin" " The Best Dum Thing". "Let go " is her first album and this is my favorite CD. Maybe I have been listening it in all CD that I have. The words that she wrote is simple and very good. I always sympathy her words.

My ideal partner

Gentle and kind person is my most ideal partner. My friends often say "I like person who is gentle and kind only for me!" but I don't like such a person. To do gentle and kind for only his partner is easy. I like person who is gentle and kind everyone, but especially me! And I like person that I feel enjoying when I talk with him. I want to talk a lot of thing, so I want my partner to listen my talking.Anyway, I like gentle person :) And I'll introduce my favorite DVD. "Love actually" is the best movie that we watch now season. This story is about Xmas! After watched this movie, you will become feel hearty!

My good friend

I have a lot of good friend, but I'll introduce you one of them. Ayaka, she is a my friend when I was a Junior high school friend. I can't remember the day when we met, maybe we met about a week after of a entrance ceremony. In fact I and her were difference class for 3 years!! But we often made a long phone call, about 5 or 6 hours! Her appearence is very very beautiful, she resemble MARIE , a Japanese fashion model. So she was famous in my school and near schools. From her, I learned we cannot judge people by their looks!!! She has a very clear-cut personality. Now, she works in hospital as a cleark. We sometime make a phone call.

A special day

My favorite special day is New Year's Day. Every New Yaer's Day, my family go to my relative's house. Almost my cousin got married and live far-distance town, so I can't meet easily. I have 3 cousin on my mother's side. 3 cousin is much older than I, so when I was a child,I was took care of them. Now each of they have a baby and I take care of them! I am an only child, so I think them my little sister and little brother! I want to meet them. And I'm looking fowred to getting a New Year's gift...but! Can I get New Year's gift?? I'm 19 now! In addition, I moved Hyogo this year, so I will meet my parent after a long time. In New Years Day in 2010, I took a practice exam!!! I took a train early morning and go to university. I never foerget New Year's Day in 2010!! I want to spend time easily New Year's Day in 2011.

Do you have cell phone?

Do you have cell phone? Almost all the people have own cell phone. Cell phone is very usefule tool. For exaple, If you are late for meeting with your friend, you cau send a E-mail,"I'm sorry, I'm late!" E-mail, this tool is very useful. The words that you don't want to tell directly, you write the E-mail easily. In addition, you cau send a sentence with picture and music. Cell phone has a lot of role. But sometime cell phone causes problem. When I was talking my friends, I feel happy, but suddenly my friend said" I go to out of the room to call." Then I feel isolution. So, I think cell phone sometime make estrangement.

Something to do with globalization

“Globalization” this word made me image the positive effect, but though we don’t aware, there are some negative effects, these negative effects bad for our daily life. Firstly, I think that other countries system destroys own country system, I’ll cite some examples familiar to us. We go to Macdonald, and Starbucks, these shops came from US. And, we eat these “fast food” more than Japanese traditional food. The Japanese who eat rice everyday has decreased because buying such a fast food is easily than cooking rice. Japanese children nowadays don’t know the way washing of rice, but they say “I thought that Macdonald is Japanese shop, but in fact, it came from US.” Future children may not know Japanese traditional food.

☆Summer vacation☆

I went to Nagano in ESS summer camp during a week. In Nagano, We must not speak Japanese! We must speak English!! It is very hard for me. My English is very poor, but it is interesting.I learned a lot of vocabraly.
And August 15,I went to my hometown, Fukuoka.I met my family and a lot of my friends.I talked about my life in Hyogo for example classes, club activities, part time job. I went to shopping with my mother, I went to sea with my friend. I had a very good time Fukuoka!!!

Summer vacation

I already have some plants in this summer sclool holoday.First,I am going to go to Nagano in club. I will be speaching in front of the club members. So I will have to practice the speach. I can't wait for that.Next,in the following week, I will go back to my home city,Fukuoka. I am so ecited to meet my friends in Fukuoka because they are my best friend. However, I musut do part time job alot because I will spend a lot of money in August.

My bad experience

When I was a high school student,I want to tokyo disney land in school trip.I had a good time there.However, the worst thing suddenly happened to me.I was talking with the friend on the bench. My friend said. "The following take that roller coaster. "
"ok!!" I said.I and my friend stood up.
It becomes impossible for me to become unpleasant suddenly, and to speak anything at that time then. After all, I could not took a roller coaster! I wanted to take a roller coaster!!

My good point and bad point

My good point is I can concentrate a short term.
For instance, when writing a paper, I can end it in a short time.
However, I was embarerassed later without doing until the day before.
I have so much bad point. For instance, I cannot get up early in the morning. Therefore,I always missed the train, and I am always late classes. Moreover, I am said by the friend, "Your reply of mail is slow". I always postpone the reply of mail. Therefore, I always trouble the friend.
I want to change my bad point!!!

What I hope to accomplish

First I want to speak English fluently in 4 years. Now I'm belong to ESS club's speech section to improve my English ability. Especially I am very poor at English pronaunciation. When I talked with American, my English didn't convey because my English pronounsiation is too bad. To inprove this ability I read aloud English sentence now. Second, I I work harder part-time-job. Now I work at hotel and restraunt. I often make a mistake because I don't remember manual book. In this summer vacation, I will work lomg time than now. I think that part-time-job is sutudy to be a working member of society. Third,I work hard to cook. Now I'm tought my friend how to cook for exanple hamburg,curry and rice and pasta. I want to cook more well so I work hard more.

What I'd do if I won the lottery

First, I want to travel around the world if I won the lottery. The place that almost tourists go is decided. But I want to go the place that nobody knouws. Especially I want to go beautifu-nature-place.For exanmple Australia and Canada. And I want to touch another culture and people. So I have to study English hard!!Especially TOEFL score!!Second, I want to buy a lot of clothes ! I want to buy everything clothes shop.Maybe I will happy.Thied I will save money. Because I am very afraid of my future.I want to live in a different country.

A place I've lived and now live

I have lived in Fukuoka.Fukuoka has rural and ueban.I have lived in rural.There are a lot of rice field near my house,and there are flogs.Flogs are very noisy!!!! But, mountain and sea is very beautiful.I often went to sea with my friend!

I live in Hyogo prefecture Imazu now.I live in domitory.Many university students live there.there are some country sutudent,for exanple American,korean,chinese.I could make friends meny country. They can speak japanese very well!!!
There are many faculty of international study students.My now house is narrow,but location is useful. There are station, supermearket, and dragstore. this is very differet from my Fukuoka's house!!!But train is noisy!!

My first few week of Kwangaku

I came Hyogo April 1 and I entered Kwangaku next day.
Kwangaku's entrance ceremony was very cold! And I was nurvous.But Ican made friends.
Next day, I walked Kwangaku from kotoen station. I feel it is very far!!! I was very tired.
I went to cafeteria wtih my new friend. cafeteria's smorgasbord was delicious.
I feel classes are very hard! especially English! I am poor in English pronauciation. I want to catch up with my class member.
My class member are kind. So I want to get along with them more. And teaher!!
